Hey footie fans, here we are again! The end of another fantastic season, at the best youth club in the UK! Let’s take a brief moment to reflect on a great season and take the time to congratulate each other on a job well done.
As always the team at Edmonton Rangers Youth FC have been incredible. We are lucky to have people with big hearts and a passion for good football. Time and time again the generosity of every single member of the club has been a lesson to us all.
I would also like to thank the parents, who week in, week out, come rain shine or snow (sometimes all in one day), support the players, the club and each other.
Some outstanding achievements are worthy of note this season:
We have finally plugged the hole with teams at each age group.
Our younger teams are growing weekly with lots of interest and new players - this bodes well for the future. Who knows their might be a young Messi among them
The Scorpions won their first ever tournament (joint first on points but ahead on goal difference) Well done to Amanda, Ali, Bo, Brian and all the players and parents
The Dragon’s, Cobra’s and Owls have all had an exceptional seasons. Closely followed by the rest of the teams at the club.
As always there are the rock solid, reliable individuals that simply make the club work from Managers to coaches. to the Exec. I would like to thank Margaret, Frank, Keith, Richard, Roger, James, Tony, Caroline, Sean, Amanda, Dave, Michael L, Michael C and last but not least Wayne
We have been selected for another project with VIY and Sport England! Awesome work team!
On a personal note thank you to Teddy and the Sharks for an incredible season and to Brian for all the burgers!
This years presentation day will be on - Saturday 15th June and will kick off at 1pm at Oakthorpe Playing Fields. It is a family day out and well worth attending to support your players and team.
